Well maintained campground in a natural bush setting (for Ned Kelly Fans)

This is the site of the Mansfield shooting of the police by the Kelly Gang

This is a large, easily accessed camping area with open areas and is suitable for tents, camper trailers or caravans.

There are long drop (composting toilets) picnic shelters and information boards that tell you all about how Ned Kelly traveled through here.

There is also a great lookout with an interesting steep set of stairs and a spectacular view of the valley from the top.

An interesting site here is the "Kelly Tree" which has a replica of Ned Kelly's armour on it, and now the tree is consuming it. I wonder how long before it is completely covered by the tree.
